Civil War Lee's Old WarhorseAn American Civil War collectible, "Lee's Old War Horse," by Mort Kunstler. The artwork
depicts General Lee and General Longstreet discussing Longstreet's misgivings about the
upcoming battle at Gettysburg. Longstreet agreed to launch the assault which would forever be
known as Pickett's Charge, the battle that ended the war. The excellent print is highlighted
by skillful mat cutting that draws attention to the brass crossed cannons like those which would be
worn on the cap of a Civil War artilleryman. Included also in the picture is an authentic Civil War
Centennial Gettysburg stamp which was issued July 1, 1963. The oak framed picture, with glass,
measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that
highlights everything in the picture. Our Price: $39.95
