Norfolk and Western Railroad

Pictured is the Norfolk and Western's streamlined "Powhattan Arrow" steam locomotive. It was considred by many to be the most advanced and powerful passenger locomotive ever built. The N & W remained completely committed to steam longer than any other major railroad. Included is a N & W patch and a 3 cent official Casey Jones Railroad Engineers postage stamp issued April 29, 1950. The oak framed picture, with glass, measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that highlights everything in the picture.
