Civil War Armistead "Steady, Boys, Steady"

"STEADY, BOYS, STEADY" An American Civil War collectible, "Steady, Boys, Steady," by Mort Kunstler. At the battle of Gettysburg, General Lewis Armistead led his Virginians into a fierce battle holding his hat on the point of his saber. The excellent print is highlighted by skillful mat cutting that draws attention to the brass bugle like those which would be worn on the cap of a Civil War infantryman. The oak framed picture, with glass, measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that highlights everything in the picture. The authentic Civil War Centennial Gettysburg stamp was issued June 29, 1995.
