"Eye of the Storm" An American Civil War collectible, "Eye of the Storm," by Mort Kunstler. At the Battle of Chickamuga, General Cleburne led his Confederate troops into a nighttime "eye of the storm" firefight which ended with a Southern victory. The excellent print is highlighted by skillful mat cutting that draws attention to the two brass buttons like those worn on a Confederate soldier's uniform. The oak framed picture, with glass, measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that highlights everything in the picture. The authentic Civil War United Confederate Veterans stamp was issued May 30, 1951.
