Civil War General Lee "We Still Love You"

"We Still Love You Just As Much As Ever, General Lee" An American Civil War collectible, "We Still Love You Just As Much As ever, General Lee," by Mort Kunstler. After his meeting with Grant at Appomattox, Lee returned to the hundreds of devoted and grim warriors who affectionately bid him farewell. The excellent print is highlighted by skillful mat cutting that draws attention to the brass crossed swords like those which would be worn on the cap of a Civil War calvaryman. The oak framed picture, with glass, measures 15 1/2 by 12 1/2. It is matted using three mat colors and has a 1/8 inch cut-out line that highlights everything in the picture. The authentic Appomattox Civil War stamp was issued April 9, 1965.
