Police #2

The framed picture measures 17 x 19 1/2 inches. The artwork, "On the Beat", by Dan Hatala depicts a little boy playing policeman getting ready to give the patrol car a parking ticket due to an expired meter. The post office issued one commemorative stamp honoring the police on May 7, 1968. The official First Day Cover (envelope) with a 6 cent postage stamp is 34 years old. Two other stamps are also included, one a 13 cent patrol wagon stamp and a 20 cent McGruff the crime dog stamp. A 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 inch law and order patch, silver handcuff tie clasp and silver police "P" button completes the picture. Envelopes bearing this 6 cent stamp will vary according to availability. CUSTOMIZE THIS PICTURE BY SUPPLYING YOUR OWN POLICE PATCH.
