 LawyerSOLD OUT This picture measures 15 3/4 by 19 3/4 inches and is framed in solid oak. Three different mat colors are used to enhance the picture. The art work is a painting done by Norman Rockwell for the February 19, 1927 issue of the Saturday Evening Post Magazine. He entitled the picture "The Law Student". A young grocery clerk is inspired by President Lincoln's accomplishments and yearns to better himself by studying to be a lawyer. Included in this framed picture is a 2 inch goldtone metal emblem depicting the familiar attorney symbol of the blindfolded Lady Justice holding scales in one hand and a sword in the other. An added feature is a small wooden gavel only 2 inches long. The collector's First Day of Issue Cover celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the American Bar Association.
