America's military during World War II was
populated with approximately 66% draftees.
During the Vietnam War, probably the most
unpopular war ever fought by Americans,
the military was filled by only 33% draftees.

colors. The map of Vietnam, a picture of a
Vietnam patch and a helicopter are featured on a maxicard.
The post office issued the stamp to honor
those who served. A Vietnam ribbon and Vietnam
Veterans patch are included. There
are 2 stamps that accompany this picture,
the 15 cent Honoring Vietnam Veterans stamp (22 years old),
and a 20 cent stamp Vietnam Veterans Memorial stamp (17 years old).
