F-18 Hornet AirplaneDID YOU KNOW?
The F-18 was designed to be converted by ground
crews from a fighter to an attack aircraft.
Both the U.S. Navy and Marines are flying
the sleek and fast F-18 nicknamed the
"Hornet." Battle tested in Operation Desert
Storm, it proved to be an excellent attack
aircraft on entrenched enemy ground troops.
One thing that makes the F-18 so popular is its
pricetag, about half what its nearest
competition cost. The hardwood frame is 18 x 16 inches. It is triple-matted
and contains Navy wings, a F-18 Hornet patch
and a maxicard picturing
a F-18 airplane. Also included is a 4 cent
Naval Aviation stamp (40 years old), a
3 cent Naval Reserve Stamp (44 years old) and
a 3 cent Navy stamp (56 years old). Our Price: $56.00
