Amateur Radio

This picture measures 16 x 19 inches and is framed in solid oak. Three different mat colors are used to enhance each item displayed. The art work is a painting done by Norman Rockwell for the May 20, 1922, issue of the Saturday Evening Post magazine. He entitled the painting, "Listen Ma!" The elderly couple appear amazed by the sounds coming through the earphones attached to the crystal radio. This was the best entertainment around during the early days of radio. Included in this framed picture is an "ARRL" (American Radio Relay League) official patch, and an exclusive Amateur Radio Cover. In addition there is an uncancelled 5 cent Amateur Radio postage stamp issued December 15, 1964.
