Mickey Mouse "The Hollywood Star"

DID YOU KNOW? Mickey Mouse appeared first in a film (1928) rather than in a comic strip as was the case with Elzie Segar's 1919 comic strip appearance of "Popeye the Sailor." It was not until 1930 that the first Mickey Mouse comic strip was published. Here is a cute picture featuring the famous Mickey Mouse. This unusual piece is 19 x 15 1/2 inches,framed in solid oak and surrounded by 3 mat colors. It also contains a Walt Disney stamp issued September 11, 1968, Mickey art, a collector pin and a commemorative envelope (envelopes vary). The back is finished with dust cover and hanger.
